This training developed by the Center on the Social and Emotional Foundations for Early Learning (CSEFEL), is made up of four modules. It focuses on how teachers may support social-emotional development and provide intervention for children exhibiting challenging behavior. The modules address promoting children�s success by building relationships and creating supportive environments, social-emotional teaching strategies, individualized intensive interventions, determining the meaning of challenging behaviors, and individualized intensive interventions, developing a behavior support plan. The modules are consistent with evidence-based practices. Prevention is certainly the goal of all early childhood programs. All participants will receive ODE approved PD credit. It is also Step Up to Quality (SUTQ) approved. Public and private preschool, childcare, Head Start, HMG and all early childhood professional staff are encouraged to attend.
